PROJECT OVERVIEW
Wall gave me further knowledge on designing a level for an online multiplayer experience whilst following the conventions of TF2, a popular and successful first-person shooter. I learnt about the importance of balancing in multiplayer games via the usage of symmetry, accommodating for all classes and considerations of sightlines and chokepoints. I was also able to use the Valve Hammer editor tool, an engine that was new to me with a steep learning curve but one that I ended up feeling fairly comfortable in by the end of the project.
